The earrings were made in the late 1990s and are in excellent condition.
The total combined weight of the earrings is 4.42 grams, including the butterfly backs.
Each topaz is securely held in a 4-claw setting, which is integrated into a basket mount designed specifically for durability and added security for larger stones.
The earrings have matching removable butterfly backs in 9ct white gold.
The original butterfly backs were misplaced over the years, however they were replaced with a pair of 9ct white gold backs instead of 18ct as they are more economical to replace if ever lost again.
