Jewellery Care Guide

General Care Tips:
Always remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, sleeping, or using saunas and steam rooms.
Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, hairsprays, and household cleaning products.
Put your jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first when you return home.
Store pieces separately to prevent scratching, especially softer stones such as opals and pearls.

Cleaning Your Jewellery at Home:
Most jewellery can be cleaned at home using warm water and a drop of mild washing-up liquid.
Soak for 5–10 minutes, gently clean with a soft toothbrush, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use harsh chemicals, silver dips, or abrasive cleaners on gemstone jewellery, as these can damage stones and weaken settings.

Diamonds:
Warm, soapy water is ideal for restoring their sparkle.

Emeralds:
Emeralds are delicate and should not be exposed to steam cleaners, ultrasonic machines, or chemicals.

Sapphires and Rubies:
Very durable and easy to maintain. Warm water and a soft brush work well.

Opals, Pearls, and Other Soft Stones:
Do not soak in water. Avoid chemicals, dips, and heat. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth and store separately.

Storing Your Jewellery:
Store each piece individually in a soft pouch or jewellery box.
Keep jewellery away from moisture and heat.
Avoid storing multiple pieces together to prevent unnecessary scratching.
