A very old Diamond set onto a more modern platinum band
The Diamond has a very light champagne tone to it. Our photos make it appear a stronger tone than it actually is. It's a gorgeous colour! Absolutely looks better in real life.
The Diamond measures 4.80mm by 5.1mm and is approximately .50ct minimum. We have not assessed the depth of the Diamond into these calculations and it has been measured in the setting.
The clarity is exceptional although hard to capture on photographs. Looking through magnification we can see very minimal tiny blemishes. There is some wearing to the girdle but this is perfectly normal for mine cut Diamonds.This Diamond will be over 100 years old!
